Wet ‘n Wild offers a variety of attractions for guests of all ages and levels of thrill, but kids and families can enjoy some of our most popular attractions in the park!
The park includes several pool alternatives with different features, and all of them are kid-safe for children to play in. These attractions have no height restrictions to enter, but smaller guests are required to wear life jackets.
The Lazy River invites families to take a breath after some thrilling fun on our slides. Grab a tube, relax, and go with the flow.
Climb the enigmatic sunken ship in the huge pool of Shipwreck Cove to discover its secrets. Walk the plank into six feet of water, but don’t forget to wear your life jacket!
If the Lazy River is way too lazy for you, the current in the Cyclone Zone can take you on a more exciting tour in an endless circle. Guests under 48 inches tall must wear life jackets.
If your kids are still not feeling confident with swimming, they can also enjoy other areas in the park where they can splash around in the water without being immersed in it. Soak Zone offers a ground-level splashing experience with more than 35 water elements scattered on a 7,000-square-foot surface in the heart of the park.
While the previous attractions can be enjoyed by both families with children and adults alike, the following zones are specially designed for kids, and both of them include their own specific attractions! Keep in mind that most of them are only available for young guests under 54 inches and the adults accompanying them.
Happy Harbor is an area specially dedicated to younger kids with 5 main attractions for mild fun. The Happy Clam and Willy the Whale slides prepare young children for bigger thrills, like Rattlers Reef, a triple-open slide complex. For those looking for a gentle adventure, explore the Silly Submarine in the middle of Happy Harbor.
Splash Island includes a kiddie-size wave pool at Rumble Bay right next to Lava Run where kids can slide down a volcano slope. Little ones can also experience Scooter Run which they can enjoy with their parents or older siblings on two-seat rafts.
Besides Scooter Run and Rattlers Reef, Wet ‘n Wild offers other kid-friendly water slides for everyone in the family to enjoy. These may be the perfect options for pre-teens who are looking for more thrilling excitement!
Tropical Drops bring a burst of excitement with two short vertical tubes that will take you down the slope and into the water in no time!
Ideal for groups of siblings and parents with children, Runaway Raft Ride lets you slide along a 600-foot-long twisting slide that will take you along a fast journey through the park with two more riders.
Wet ‘n Wild is amazing for kids, not only because of its attractions but also because of its variety of dining options! For lunch, families can enjoy tasty comfort foods, hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken nuggets among many other options. You can even get roasted turkey legs at the park! If a snack is what you are looking for, Dippin’ Dots is the innovative ice cream that will make your taste buds dance. For a more classic option, kids can find regular ice cream cones or sweet cotton candy to eat while waiting in line for the next attraction!
Kids are the protagonists at Wet ‘n Wild! Join us in celebrating the magic of childhood at Kids Fest and our Sunday Funday events series to enjoy tons of activities and special games to make the most out of your day at the park. You can even win prizes by participating!
Although water attractions and fun activities sound like a wonderful day, there are a few things you can do to make it perfect! Here are some of our tips to have an unforgettably cool day at Wet ‘n Wild:
Arriving early: Because of its popularity, the park may get crowded, especially during very hot days when everyone is craving splashing fun. To avoid long queues and crowds, we recommend arriving just before the doors open to enjoy the park before big crowds arrive. Take a look at our opening hours here.
Pack up wisely: A few elements are essential for a good day at the park, and you should pack them in your bags when you purchase your tickets. Make sure you have sunscreen to avoid sunburn, sunglasses if you are used to wearing them, suitable clothing for water, and towels to dry after the day is over!
Follow park instructions: To ensure you and the rest of the guests have the best experience at the park, have a look at what you need to know regarding important information, safety guidelines, and prohibited items and activities in the park.
Taking photos and making videos: Even if your memories of the park will live forever with you, it’s always a good idea to take photos and videos of the best moments to review them every once in a while.
