Can I leave the park and come back later?
Yes, visitors can exit and re-enter the waterpark. At the time of exit, your hand will be stamped and this will allow you to enter and exit the park all day long.

No outside food or beverages are allowed in the Park.

We do not allow glass containers, coolers, ice chests, food or beverages to be brought inside the park.

Any bottles or containers for infant formula must be plastic; no glass is allowed in the park.

Cakes are allowed to be brought in for booked birthday parties.

Admission tickets and Season Passes become non-refundable for any reason once the transaction is complete, whether it’s at the Front Gate, online through our website, or other retail outlets.

This policy applies even in the event of weather-related occurrences. We advise guests to check local weather conditions before planning their visit.

Unprocessed Season Passes, which are still in e-ticket or voucher form and have not been exchanged for a season pass card, may be transferred to another individual.

Please note that all unused day tickets expire on the last day of the season. Season Passes, whether processed or unprocessed, will lose their value on on the last day of the season, unless you choose to renew your Season Pass for the following season.

Yes, Life Jackets are available for free in the waterpark. 

United States Coast Guard-approved life jackets and “Puddles” floating devices are allowed and provided complimentary on a first-come, first-served basis. These regulations are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone at Big Kahuna’s Waterpark.

We do have changing and shower facilities to ensure your comfort here at Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe, conveniently located at Davey Jones at the front of the park.

Our park address is 3910 South Holden Road, Greensboro, NC 27406. We are conveniently located off business 85 at the Holden Road Exit.

You’ll find countless shaded areas located throughout the park where you can comfortably retreat from the sun. Lounge chairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You can also choose to rent a private cabana for the day, where you can enjoy unlimited breaks in your own private shaded area. It is always a good idea to wear sunscreen at Wet ’n Wild, whether you’ll be spending most of your time in the shade or in direct sunlight.

Eye glasses may be worn on some attractions with a head strap. Please check the safety rating information at the front of each attraction for more information.

Over 150 Ellis & Associates trained and licensed Lifeguards are stationed throughout the park for proper ride dispatching and guest assistance in splashdown pools. The First Aid Station is staffed by EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians) and is open during park operating hours and special functions. They are all here for your safety and service.

A manager will share which rides and attractions are appropriate for your abilities and will help you make the most of your visit.

We strongly suggest that minors under the age of 18 be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. The park does not assume any responsibility or liability for unattended minors.

We have a variety of children’s water play areas including Happy Harbor, Splash Island, the Kiddie Wave Pool, Rumble Bay and Soak Zone.

No. Cell Phones, Cameras, GoPros, or any other recording devices (photography or video) are prohibited on all rides to ensure the safety of our guests. Violation of this policy is subject to park dismissal.

Guests are permitted to bring their own life jackets. We strongly recommend that children under 48 inches and weak or non-swimmers wear a life jacket. Please note that only Coast Guard-approved life jackets are permitted for those under 48 inches in both Shipwreck and Thunder Bay Wave Pool.

We employ hundreds of lifeguards who have extensive training in monitoring pools and operating rides; however, they are not a substitute for responsible parental supervision. Lifeguards are provided to monitor and respond to emergencies, but not to babysit children. Always keep your child within arm’s reach, and if your child is in the water, you should be too.

Are you bringing valuables into the park? We’ll make sure they stay safe and secure! Locker rentals are available at Wet ’n Wild. Lockers are self-service and self-pay (we accept debit or credit card payment options). Our lockers are offered in a variety of sizes and rental prices, depending on what suits you best. We kindly ask that you make sure all valuables are securely stored. Wet ’n Wild will not be held responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.

We reserve the right to close for any severe weather situation, or condition, which might interfere with our guest’s safety or enjoyment of the park. Weather is unpredictable and can pose certain health and safety hazards. In certain severe weather situations, the Park may shut down rides and direct people to certain areas or direct people to leave the park altogether. Please make sure to obey all Park instructions, if any are given.

For the comfort of all guests, smoking of any kind, including vapor and e-cigarettes, is only permitted in designated smoking areas: The Crow’s Nest and Dockside Bar. Smoking outside of designated areas is not allowed. Thank you for your cooperation.

Yes. You must have an admission ticket to enter the park. Don’t worry, besides the thrills and chills of the waterslides, there are plenty of less daring attractions and family play areas. For guests with special needs, please call us at (336) 852-9721 for information regarding accessibility and accommodations.

We allow one bag per guest with a maximum size of 15” x 15” x 15” into the park

Cashless FAQ

How do I check the balance on my prepaid card?

There are several ways to check your balance. First, you can swipe the card and see the balance at any Cash to Card Kiosk at Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe. You can also call the number listed on the back of each card.

First, please be sure to take the receipt issued during your transaction at the Cash to Card Kiosk. This will list the amount of cash you deposited. Then, head to the nearest Guest Services location. At Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe, Guest Services can be found near the front entrance. A team member will work with the card provider to resolve the error as quickly as possible so you can get back to fun!

There are no penalties or fees if you attempt to make a purchase that is larger than the amount of funds on the card. You will need to provide another form of payment to complete the transaction or load additional money onto a new card.

Prepaid cards cannot be reloaded. Instead, get a new prepaid card free of charge at a nearby Cash to Card Kiosk.

The card can be used anywhere payments are made throughout Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe. Outside of the park, it can be used at any location that accepts credit or debit cards.

The Cash to Card Kiosks are free to use; there is no fee to load cash onto the prepaid card. If the card is used regularly, there is no recurring fee. After 92 consecutive days of no transaction activity, however, a $3.95 fee will be charged each month.

No, cryptocurrencies will not be accepted at the park.

These include all major credit and debit card providers (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover) and secure mobile payment systems (Apple Pay, Google/Android Pay, Samsung Pay). We do not accept cash, however, guests can transfer cash onto a prepaid card through a simple and safe process at several Cash to Card Kiosks located throughout Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe.

 The park has switched to a fully cashless system to provide a better, safer, and faster experience for our guests. Wet ‘n Wild now accepts electronic payments such as debit cards, credit cards, and mobile payments like Apple Pay and Google Pay only. Cashless transactions allow our food and retail lines to move much quicker, getting you back to the fun faster! It also provides a more secure environment for our staff and eliminates the hassle of carrying wet cash or losing coins in the park.   

Wet ‘n Wild is a cashless park. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express cards at the entrance ticket booths, Shore Thing Gift Shop, and all food locations. Admission tickets and season passes are also available for purchase online. Guests with cash will have free access to multiple easy-to-use Cash to Card kiosks conveniently located throughout Wet ‘n Wild. 

Going cashless will make transactions faster and safer, while cutting down on wait times.   

Yes, the entire property is now cashless. There are multiple free-to-use kiosks throughout the property.   

We have several locations throughout the park where you can convert your cash: 

  1. At the main entrance of the park, next to the Guest Relations window
  2. Next to the entrance of Shore Thing Gift Shop 
  3. Next to the Ticketing Kiosk outside of the park 

The kiosk works like a reverse ATM. Simply insert your cash, follow the on-screen instructions, and a prepaid card will be issued instantly with your funds loaded and ready to use.
